Job Overview

Shearon Environmental Design of NJ, Inc., Hopewell, NJ is offering 30 Landscape Laborer positions on a temporary full‑time contract from March 1, 2026 to November 30, 2026. Work hours are 7:00 am through 4:00 pm, Monday‑Friday, with occasional weekends required. The employer provides daily transportation from a central location to the work sites in Essex, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Somerset and Union counties. Salary is $21.91 /hour (weekly pay) with overtime at $32.87 /hour.

Health‑care and 401(k) benefits are partially provided at the employer’s discretion.

• Dig holes for plants and trees, install landscape materials and sprinkler systems using hand tools.
• Weed, edge, rake, spread mulch, water, fertilize, cultivate lawns and gardens.
• Mow, trim, lay sod, shovel snow as needed, and clean up work sites.
• Operate powered landscaping equipment and, when required, drive company trucks, vans and trailers (GVWR Class 4: 14,001–16,000 lb) to transport materials, equipment and crew members.

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Pre‑employment drug testing and random drug testing during employment are required.

Transportation and subsistence are provided. During the first week, workers receive a daily allowance of $16.28 up to a maximum of $68.00, with receipts required. Workers who complete at least 50 % of the contract will have an initial transportation and subsistence cost paid by the employer, and upon completion or earlier dismissal, reasonable return transportation costs are covered. H‑2B workers are reimbursed for visa processing, border crossing and related fees during the first week.
