Cape May County Zoo 6-month Seasonal Zookeeper

The Cape May County Park & Zoo is seeking an individual who is motivated, has a passion for wildlife, and an up‑beat personality to fill a 6‑month Seasonal Zookeeper position. Under the supervision of the Zoo Director and Supervisors, the employee will be responsible for the animal care and husbandry of various animals in the zoo.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology, Wildlife Biology, Zoo Science, Biology, or related field.
• Exotic animal care experience, preferably at an AZA facility.
• Excellent creative thinking and originality.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, including weekends.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

All applicants must pass a drug and background check prior to employment.

Pay: $17.00 per hour. 40 hours per week. Seasonal employment from February 2026 to August 2026 (6 months from start date).
