QA Receiving Specialist

Multi-Pak Packaging is looking for a QA Receiving Specialist to support quality management and contribute to our growth.

• Inspect all incoming bulk, components, primary and secondary labeling, and other packaging operating supplies per specifications.
• Verify quantities of pallets received, perform sampling, sign off receiving inspection reports, and log into inspection logbook.
• Create receiving reports and document correctly as per SOPs and work instructions.
• Ensure materials meet specifications through appropriate inspection methods.
• Manage label issuance procedure including inspection, verification, issuance to the Label Room and returns from production.
• Notify Client services department and required personnel of receiving inspection discrepancies.
• Create and document Transfer tags for label transfers between warehouses.
• Store and manage samples correctly in Chapin warehouse.
• Manage the quarantine area in both Chapin and Clinton warehouse.
• Verify disposition of materials and sign documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and follow good documentation practices for all materials inspected.
• Maintain and manage all Component Specifications and Color Standards as required by the client.

• Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
• 1-2 years related experience, especially in pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Judgment within defined procedures and practices.
• Team player with good problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of GMP documentation and FDA requirements.
• General knowledge of quarantine and warehouse operation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

• Lifts up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds on occasion.
• Remains in stationary position up to 40% of time.
• Walks or stands up to 90% of time.
• Occasional movement inside office to access machinery, file cabinets, etc.
• Frequent movement inside warehouse requiring pallet navigation.
• Functions in narrow aisles or passageways.
• Occasional kneel, climb, crawl, reach to perform inspections.
• Communicates with all departments accurately.
