About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented SQF Practitioner / Food Safety & Quality Specialist to support food safety, quality assurance, compliance, and audit readiness within a food manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining SQF programs, regulatory compliance, training initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and maintain SQF, HACCP, GMP, FSMA, and food safety programs.
Coordinate food safety documentation, corrective actions, and compliance records.
Assist with internal, customer, regulatory, and certification audits.
Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances.
Conduct training and promote a strong food safety culture.
Support traceability exercises, mock recalls, environmental monitoring, and certification programs.
Track quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
2+ years of Food Safety, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Experience supporting SQF-certified operations.
Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, FSMA, FDA regulations, audits, and corrective actions.
Strong documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Strong attention to detail and accountability.
Hands-on, collaborative approach within a manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication and follow-through.
Desire to grow within Food Safety & Quality leadership.
