Responsibilities
  • Lead the Back of House teams during the opening cafe process to ensure they are well prepared for their new roles.
  • Provide direction and clarity around best-in-class processes and procedures, including ordering, inventory management, effective scheduling, and general leadership of the Back of House teams.
  • Ensure production levels are aligned with projected sales volume and manage to sales and traffic trends.
  • Determine staffing adequacy for the Back of House teams and address gaps.
  • Partner with the General Manager and District Manager to resolve staffing or skill issues during opening.
  • Collaborate on scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Teach inventory management and COGS goals.
  • Teach end-of-month Back of House inventory per company guidelines.
  • Teach ordering and receiving of shipments.
  • Ensure adherence to sanitation and food safety standards.
  • Coach, give feedback, and recognize team to maintain high product quality standards.
  • Work with Training and Development and District Production to support ongoing learning.
  • Work extended hours to support the business as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Need To Have
  • At least 5 years of Restaurant experience, Bakery Café experience preferred.
  • Flexible, adaptive, upbeat, open, and visible management style with a record of managing senior operations leaders across a large portfolio.
  • Passion for people and a dynamic leader who empowers and motivates team members.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to give constructive feedback and recognition.
  • High emotional intelligence, empathy, and self-motivation.
  • Team player fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Brand ambassador with knowledge and commitment to Paris Baguette’s Mission, Vision, Brand Values and Culture.
  • Willingness to travel and commute to all Corporate and Franchise locations and proposed openings.
