Aerie - Merchandising Team Leader; Assistant Manager

Pay Range

Base pay range: $21.45/yr - $33.55/yr (actual pay based on experience)

As the full-time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader’s "go-to" for developing and implementing the merchandising strategy for the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team to deliver AEO brand visual standards every day, ensuring effective replenishment and a "guest ready" store. You represent company values and bring your authentic self to work.

• Drive sales as a key Leader on Duty by maximizing fitting room and salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through a best‑in‑class guest experience.
• Analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions and develop short‑ and long‑term business plans to drive key KPIs.
• Coach the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience and maintain visual standards, leading day‑to‑day merchandising, sell‑through adjustments and replenishment.
• Motivate and inspire the team through AEO core values, holding them accountable to customer service standards on the salesfloor and in fitting rooms.
• Recruit, hire and train strong talent to meet business needs, and develop associates through performance feedback, coaching, development plans and performance reviews.
• Execute and innovate daily operational procedures, maintain visual standards throughout the store, and keep fitting rooms guest‑ready and compliant with AEO Brand Standards.
• Adhere to safety, asset protection and all AEO policies and procedures, and act with integrity at all times.
