Location - Swedesboro, NJ - on site
OverviewThe Inside Sales Manager supports revenue growth through sales execution, customer support, logistics coordination, and new account development. This role works closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to manage existing sales channels, assist with product development, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings a strong sales support background and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support inside and outside sales efforts to drive revenue growth
- Assist with new account development and management of existing sales channels
- Create sales quotations and assist in developing accurate unit forecasts
- Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and identify additional needs
- Assist with planning and participation in industry trade shows
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email
- Gather detailed information on customer businesses, needs, applications, fleet size, and procurement strategies
- Effectively communicate customer needs and market feedback to management
- Support service, parts, and accessories inquiries
- Process orders accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate trucking and logistics to fulfill customer orders
- Work with outside suppliers as assigned
- Build, maintain, and update CRM data
- Gather competitive product and market intelligence
- Help compile market statistics and customer data
- Develop regular reports for external sales staff
- Work effectively as part of the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams
- Participate in training programs
- Review priorities with management and adapt to changing needs
- Provide suggestions to management for process and efficiency improvements
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience will be considered
- Background in sales, sales support, or account development preferred
- Experience in construction equipment, power generation equipment, light towers, or equipment rental is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent telephone, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities, including customers and internal teams
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
