Join our team as a Territory Manager – where passion meets opportunity. As a Territory Manager at US Foods, you will build relationships, drive sales, and make a meaningful impact in the food service industry.

• Be the Customer Champion:
  Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team‑based selling model. Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations, and pricing strategies to help customers succeed.
• Drive Sales Success:
  Success will be measured by selling to customers, increasing case growth, and acquiring new business. Deliver impactful sales presentations and tailor sales approach to individual customers. Effective time and territory management is critical.
• Team‑Based Selling:
  Work collaboratively with specialists to assist with top penetration opportunities and new account openings. Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and customer service to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Lead with Insight:
  Develop new business by identifying prospective customers using market intelligence databases, business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
• Delivery Resolution:
  Manage deliveries per the routing schedule, troubleshoot problems during order process (delivery mismatches, short loads, stock‑outs).
• Competitive Advantage:
  Know market conditions, product innovations, competitors’ products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as part of value‑added services.
• Stay on the Move:
  Drive vehicle to conduct regular check‑ins, site visits, and follow‑ups to ensure customer satisfaction.

• 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license; driving record in good standing.
• Food service industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold‑call to develop new business.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Problem‑solving, organization, and negotiation skills.
• Team‑up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Tech‑savvy – proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus.

Compensation
:
Initial expected base rate is between $55,000 and $95,000, plus performance incentives and benefits.
