Role Description The Sales Associate role is a full-time, on-site position located at SPIRIT CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP in Swedesboro, NJ. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting customers, identifying their vehicle needs, presenting suitable options, and conducting product demonstrations and test drives. The Sales Associate will guide customers through pricing, financing options, and sales documentation while following dealership and regulatory procedures. This role involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of inventory, features, and promotions, as well as accurately entering customer information into dealership systems.

The Sales Associate will also follow up with prospects and existing customers, collaborate with service and finance teams, and contribute to achieving individual and dealership sales goals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with a wide range of customers.
• Sales aptitude, including basic negotiation skills, comfort discussing pricing and financing, and ability to meet performance targets.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customers, follow-ups, and documentation efficiently.
• Basic computer proficiency for using dealership software, email, and online tools to manage leads and records.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and ethical conduct, with attention to detail and adherence to dealership policies.
• Ability to work on-site, including evenings and weekends as required by dealership hours.
• Prior experience in retail, customer service, or automotive sales is preferred but not required; training may be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in business or automotive fields are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record, and ability to operate a variety of vehicles safely.
