The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District, an award-winning, Central Monmouth, K-8 school district with a tradition of excellence in education, is seeking a School Security Officer for Lafayette Mills School with the following qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent valid New Jersey driver's license
• Must obtain and maintain an armed SORA card from NJ State Police
• 25 years of service in a Law Enforcement and retired in good standing
• Knowledge of security measures, fire prevention and crowd control
• Ability to maintain order and to work with groups and individuals on matters of security and crisis management
• Must pass psychological testing, drug evaluation, and a criminal history background check
• Possess and maintain a valid State of New Jersey Permit to carry a Handgun

• 10 Months
• Full-Time position
• Non-Tenure Track
• Hours:
  • 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Salary:
  • Hourly Rate - $29.64
  • Salary - $37,974.00
