As a Security Officer - Telecom Campus Patrol in Florence, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents while providing a visible presence. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and assist with emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for staff and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help deter security-related risks.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment in a tech, media, or telecom setting.

• CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
