As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Route in New Gretna, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting site operations as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor for unusual activities or conditions throughout the facility and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities during emergency situations and/or drills.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
