Job Overview:
The Security Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure working environment for their assigned shift. As the onsite security lead, they use professional judgement and independent decision‑making toikers oversee all security operations during the shift. Core responsibilities include supervising in‑house and third‑party security, managing all matters related to physical security, asset protection, emergency and law‑enforcement response, de‑escalation of stressful situations, and providing a concierge‑style security approach for all departments operating within the fulfillment center.

• Assist in the development and implementation of loss prevention procedures.
• Act as front‑line security to monitor and protect company assets.
• Utilize CCTV to monitor activity and investigate losses.
• Conduct periodic rounds of the entire property, including all departments, work areas, and parking lots.
• Identify and make recommendations for minimizing physical hazards and unsafeotse work practices in partnership with the Safety Manager.
• Complete monthly audits, including but not limited to hose locks, electronic device allowance, and screening.
• Develop and maintain a working relationship with local law enforcement authorities.
• Control in‑house security staff responsibilities, assist in training, and oversee overall development.
• Enhance and support a working relationship with all departments in the fulfillment center.
• Remain calm in hostile or uncomfortable circumstances.
• Act as direct liaison with third‑party security guards for daily operations, including coordinating resources for open doors, escorts, responding to medical emergencies, and addressing other security‑related activities.

• Occasional weekend or night shifts.
• As directed by the manager.

• Strong knowledge of security protocols and surveillance systems.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Follow safety standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions based on company guidelines.
• Provide training on security policies and procedures.
• Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.

• Minimum 6 years of direct experience, with 3 years in a supervisory role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Warehouse and office environment.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds as required.
