Home Works Construction and Remodeling is looking for a dependable and energetic Carpenter Apprentice / Jr Carpenter to join our Field Operations team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone ready to work hard, learn fast, and build a solid foundation in residential construction. From demo and material handling to assisting experienced carpenters and learning the trade, this role is perfect for someone who wants to become a skilled carpenter in the near future.

• Assist skilled carpenters with framing and finish carpentry tasks
• Perform demo work and site preparation
• Load, unload, and carry heavy construction materials
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Drive to and from job sites and supply stores to pick up tools and materials
• Participate in tool and equipment setup
• Learn from and support other trades and team members on-site
• Follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE
• Work hard, stay positive, and be ready to grow into a skilled carpenter role over time

• 2 years of experience in construction, carpentry, or similar labor-intensive work preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
• Comfortable lifting heavy materials and working in physically demanding conditions
• Positive attitude and eagerness to grow in the construction trade
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• No formal education or certifications required - drive and work ethic are what matter most

Full-Time:
Monday-Friday with overtime as needed.

On-site at various residential job locations across New Jersey. Driving to multiple job sites or supply pickups will be required.
