Building Maintenance

Overview

Rider University seeks a general maintenance professional. This individual will have the opportunity to apply their skills in a variety of ways across our 280-acre campus (forty-three buildings). This includes routine general maintenance services requiring the repair, replacement, and installation of building components.

• Perform routine general maintenance services including repair, replacement, and installation of building components across campus facilities.

• Demonstrated basic plumbing and electrical experience.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Physical ability to perform required job responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision, work from ladders, and operate power tools.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing is required.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.

• 3 years of general maintenance experience is preferred.
