Lead Security Technician

Security Technician – 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Location: Central/North Jersey

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Security Technician to join our team on a 6‑month contract‑to‑hire basis. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience installing and servicing IP‑based security systems in commercial and industrial environments.

Responsibilities include installation of access control systems, electronic door and lock hardware, cable running, and terminations. Candidates should be self‑motivated, maintain a professional appearance, and communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues. During the contractual basis – candidate will be utilizing their own vehicle.

• Installation and servicing of CCTV systems
• Installation and servicing of Card Access systems
• Installation and servicing of Burglar/Fire Alarm systems
• Strong construction knowledge
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings
• Excellent problem‑solving skills

• Ability to operate hand and power tools, lift up to 50 lbs, and install/service security devices
• Clear communication with customers and team members
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights (12‑32 feet or higher using man lifts)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to recognize and identify colors
• Dependable and punctual attendance
• Ability to work full‑time schedule and overtime as needed
• Available for travel, including nights and weekends
• Required to wear company uniform and maintain a neat appearance

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stanhope, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 – $32.00/hr.
