FNS is looking to hire experienced In-house
Aerial Lineman to work with our Cinnaminson, NJ team.You'll join an existing team working many types of HFC/Broadband projects to include, BAU, spans, relos, Hyperbuild, Newbuild, Metro-E, etc. You will report to Project Management.
- Read HFC maps / prints to understand project scope
- Climb poles, utilizing Gaffs, Ladder and a Bucket Truck to perform work where required
- Maintain visual and vocal contact with other crew members as well as all moving or stationary people, vehicles, and objects in order to guarantee safe movement coordination.
- Recognize and enforce Safe working environments in Public Right-of-Way environments to include worksite traffic-control best practices.
- Produce accurate post-construction as-built mark-up maps. Typically, through red-lined PDF files.
- Provide daily production reports via email/excel or additional tracking methods.
- Maintaining aerial specifications when placing overhead lines.
- Knowledge of HFC design
- Aerial Fiber / Coax construction experience
- Ability to read and understand technical instruction
- Ability to effectively communicate with others and work within a team environment
- Ability to occasionally be On-Call for after-hours emergency work
- Possession of a valid Driver's license
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds or more
