The Township of Clinton, Hunterdon County, is accepting applications for a full-time position of laborer for the Department of Public Works.
Responsibilities and Qualifications- Buildings and ground maintenance
- Grass cutting
- Road maintenance
- Snow plowing
- Leaf collection
- Paving
- Applicants should be able to perform manual labor under all weather conditions and be able to understand/carry out verbal instructions.
- Applicants must be able to safely operate grass cutting equipment, chainsaws, chippers, snow blowers, leaf machines, and similar equipment as directed.
- The successful candidate must be available to work overtime as needed, including holidays and weekends.
- Applicant must also have a valid NJ Driver’s License.
- A valid Class A CDL preferred, or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Successful applicants must undergo a background check.
Salary range $45,000 to $55,000 DOQE.
