Pay: $27–$40 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Job Description

G.E. Smith Electric is an established electrical contracting company located in Blackwood, NJ. We serve Camden, Gloucester, and Burlington Counties, performing residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical work.

We are looking for a dependable, experienced electrician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience who is capable of working independently.

This position is for an experienced electrician who can run a service truck, troubleshoot electrical problems, and complete jobs without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Independently handle service calls and electrical projects.
• Complete wiring for renovations, additions, and new installations.
• Install and troubleshoot electrical panels, circuits, lighting, switches, and receptacles.
• Read electrical drawings and follow NEC requirements.
• Communicate professionally with customers.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of electrical experience.
• Residential and commercial experience required.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• NJ Journeyman Electrician License preferred but not required.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
