Under general direction, supervises employees engaged in the cleaning, construction, maintenance, and repair of storm and sanitary sewers, catch basins, and related drainage facilities; performs other related duties as required.
- Plan and supervise sewer cleaning, installation, maintenance, and repair projects.
- Establish work schedules, coordinate emergency repairs, and inspect work for compliance with proper procedures and safety standards.
- Oversee equipment, materials, and supplies; maintain attendance and project records.
Experience: Four years of experience in sewer installation or repair work, varied plumbing work, and/or the operation and maintenance of sewer maintenance equipment, including one year in a lead worker capacity.
Licenses: Appropriate NJDEP water and/or wastewater operator licenses and a CDL with applicable endorsements may be required. A C-2 License is required and a class B CDL driver’s license valid in New Jersey is required.
