Residential HVAC Service Technician
Location: Cinnaminson, NJ
Pay: $25–$45 per hour, based on experience
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
We’re seeking experienced Residential HVAC Technicians for full-time, permanent opportunities in Cinnaminson, NJ. If you enjoy solving problems, take pride in quality workmanship, and provide professional service to homeowners, we’d like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems.
- Service furnaces, central air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and thermostats.
- Perform preventive maintenance, seasonal tune-ups, and system performance checks.
- Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, airflow, condensate drainage, and refrigerant-related problems.
- Read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools to determine repair needs.
- Explain findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations clearly to homeowners.
- Complete accurate service records, including work performed and parts used.
- Protect customer property and maintain clean, organized work areas.
- Follow established safety procedures and proper refrigerant-handling practices.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience servicing and repairing residential HVAC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of HVAC electrical components and refrigeration principles.
- EPA Section 608 certification appropriate to the equipment serviced.
- Ability to complete service calls independently and collaborate with fellow technicians.
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record suitable for operating a service vehicle.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
- HVAC trade school training or additional industry certifications are a plus.
Compensation & Opportunity
- $25–$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
