• Diagnose, repair, replace and install plumbing systems
• Water heaters, fixtures, drains, sewer, water supply, DWV and gas
• Work with dispatch, project managers and other technicians
• Growth into lead technician and supervisory roles

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential and commercial plumbing issues
• Perform plumbing repairs, replacements, and installations
• Service water heaters, fixtures, faucets, toilets, pumps, valves, and other plumbing equipment
• Identify leaks, blockages, drainage issues, and other plumbing system problems
• Perform drain cleaning and sewer-related service work as needed
• Install and repair water supply, DWV, gas, and other plumbing systems
• Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Read and interpret plumbing plans, specifications, and layouts when required
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding diagnoses, recommended repairs, and available solutions
• Provide professional, courteous customer service and maintain a clean work environment
• Complete required service documentation accurately
• Work closely with dispatch, project managers, and other technicians to ensure jobs are completed properly and on schedule
• Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety requirements, and company procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained
• Work independently while knowing when to communicate with management or request additional support

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional plumbing service experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems
• Ability to troubleshoot plumbing problems accurately and efficiently
• Working knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and safety requirements
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in crawlspaces, basements, and other physically demanding environments
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
