Residential Assistant

Haddon Heights Psychiatric Community Home is a transitional residential facility for young women aged 16-20.

We are seeking staff to work Friday to Monday from 3 pm to 11 pm.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supervise, organize, and support recreational and social activities.
• Lead milieu staff through youth’s structured routine in collaboration with youth’s case manager, clinician, and prescriber.
• Engage and interact with youth based on behavioral intervention plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Observe, document, and acknowledge positive behaviors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related social service field (Psychology, Sociology, Education, Public Health, etc.), Psychology preferred. Preference for those interested in enrolling in an MSW program for growth within the agency.
• High school diploma with 3+ years of experience working with youth in a behavioral group setting.
• Valid driver’s license.

Schedule:

Friday-Monday, 3 pm - 11 pm (Full-time, 32 hours/week).
