School Social Worker

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Holds valid New Jersey Educational Services Certificate and School Social Worker Endorsement.
• Possesses a Master's Degree and a minimum of three years' successful experience in working with families and community health and social services agencies.
• Demonstrates effective skills in problem solving, communications, organization, planning record keeping and human relations.
• Demonstrates ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, administrators and others.
• Possess knowledge of laws and regulations governing special education in New Jersey.
• Successfully completes required criminal history check and has proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

REPORTSTO:
Director of Student Services and Programming

JOB GOAL:
To service as a member of the Child Study Team, asses the needs of children and support the districts instructional program by assisting students in their personal, social and educational growth consistent with the goals set forth by the Board of Education and within the resources provided by it.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time January 1, 2027-June 30, 2027

PAY RATE: $63,894 (minimum) as Per MTEA Contract
