Job Description:Short-Term Counseling: Provide individual and small-group counseling for anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and relationship issues.
Crisis Intervention: Assess immediate emotional or behavioral distress, handle safety planning, and manage acute crises.
Risk & Behavioral Support: Address risky behaviors and support students with social-emotional barriers to learning.
Collaboration & Referrals: Partner with teachers, administrators, families, and external mental health providers to coordinate short and long-term care.
Case Management: Maintain confidential records and participate in student support or intervention teams.
Program Delivery: Coordinate school-based programs and lessons supporting wellness initiatives.
Job Requirements:- NJ DOE School Psychologist or School Social Worker
$70,021 - $77,731 (prorated)
Additional Employment Requirements:- Approved criminal history background check for district 3710
- Pass the Trash approval
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
- Current residency in New Jersey or approved residency waiver, or candidate agreement to obtain residency within one year of employment.
