Essential Skills/
Basic Qualifications:
- Work experience in Java
- Experience with AWS Cloud and its services like EC2, Athena, Lambda, S3, SQS and Cloud Formation
- In-depth knowledge in Core Java, Spring framework (Spring Boot & Spring Batch) and RESTful API Services
- Experience in writing Junit test cases
- Experienced in writing Unix shell/Python scripts
- Good Knowledge in Relational databases and SQL
- Problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Full Stack Developer – Java/Angular/React and Micro services experience.
- AWS Development experience using Python, Java, Node.js, Lambda service and scripting
- Any Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google/Oracle) Certification will be a plus.
- Strong team player, willing to work on own initiative yet able to communicate well and integrate with a diverse team.
- Confident, enthusiastic, always giving 100% to assigned tasks and able to handle situations in which they have little or no previous experience.
- Proactive, being able to effectively deal with change and identify, react and add value to issues that affect the team as a whole.
- Good interpersonal skills, able to develop relationships with other IT teams and the business.
- Thorough understanding of a software development lifecycle, realizing the importance of different levels of testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills as well as the ability to manage several tasks/projects concurrently and prioritize work effectively.
- Experience in Risk and Finance or Regulatory reporting.
- Understanding of Big Data Technologies, Cloudera, Spark
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Good exposure in Python Scripting
- A strong team player
- Promote Automation, reusable components.
- Experience in Maven, Teamcity & GIT/ Bitbucket
