* Job Description:

** The Salesforce Developer II performs activities developing components of solutions with a focus on analytics, support, testing, and proof of concepts aligned to business and technology objectives.

Provides a broad range of system solutions development to business problems through the development and programming of applications / systems. May also provide research, installation, maintenance, configuration, administration and/or provisioning of systems/applications.  
** Depth & Scope:
*** Advanced knowledge of specific domain or range of engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes and procedures, as well as organization issues
* Performs complex to difficult technical tasks independently
* Advanced knowledge of technology, tools, various programming languages, processes, and procedures
* Develops program specifications; adapts, integrates, codes, tests and debugs programs; and is responsible for executing
* Uses existing procedures to solve routine problems; makes limited exceptions

* Education & Experience:

*** Undergraduate degree, Postgraduate degree or Technical Certificate
* Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)
* 3-5 years relevant experience

* Preferred Qualifications:

* * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field
* 3+ years relevant experience working as a developer in Salesforce
* 2+ years relevant experience with HTML, JavaScript, XML, APEX, Visualforce
* 3+ years of experience configuring Salesforce using workflows, validation rules, Lightning Flow, roles & profiles, reports and dashboards at a large organization
* 3+ years of database experience writing queries in SOQL, working with Data Loader, Workbench and ETL tools to perform bulk data updates
* Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
* Experience with Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud
* Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
* Experience with standard/custom object creation, validation rules, etc.
* Experience in back-end development of Salesforce including but not limited to design of data models, a strong knowledge of SOQL, and usage of web technologies.

* In-depth understanding of the architecture, capabilities and constraints of Salesforce application coupled with good understanding of business processes
* Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator or equivalent experience
