Warehouse Technician I – Picking 1st Shift

Our Warehouse Technician I – Picking plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our pharmaceutical products. After completing our training, you will be responsible for batch picking using manual or automated technology, supporting production requirements and maintaining accurate inventory records.

This is a full‑time role on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM at our Bloomsbury, NJ location. The position is safety‑sensitive and may require random drug testing in accordance with applicable laws.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Picks starting materials and supplies according to the ERP generated picklist to support batch manufacturing.
  • Transacts picked material using an ERP system.
  • Verifies picked material matches the picklist.
  • Pulls inventory items necessary to restock and replenishes shelves.
  • Rotates stock in accordance with First‑Expired, First‑Out procedure.
  • Handles opened, damaged, expired, or excess inventory and performs replacements when necessary.
  • Manages defective, damaged, or expired inventory per departmental policy.
  • Unloads trucks of materials and loads recyclable material on trucks.
  • Removes pallets, strapping, and packing materials, and transports recycling materials to the recycle area.
  • Receives and puts away material in designated locations to support effective warehouse flow.
  • Verifies bill of lading and packing documents.

  • Highly detail oriented and organized.

  • Able to shift gears at a moment’s notice.
Minimum Requirements for This Role
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successfully complete a drug and background check.
  • Willingness and ability to walk, stoop, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. (± accommodations).
  • 18 + years of age.
  • Comfortable using mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, or handhelds.
  • 1–2 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, shipping, receiving, logistics, material handling, customer service, inventory control, or an equivalent service line.
  • Competency assessment for batch picking.
  • Completion of material handling equipment training and understanding of inventory management and rotation.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis (no visa sponsorship).
Anything That Gives You an Edge
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Experience with AS400, INFOR, or other ERP systems.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of discrete batch manufacturing in the pharmaceutical field.
