We are currently looking for ‘Material Handler’ to support one of our clients with the following skills:

Title:

Material Handler (Junior-Level | 2 – 4 Years | Branchburg, NJ)

Location:

Branchburg, NJ

Duration: 12 Months (Contract W2)

Pay Rate: DOE

Engagement:
Independent consultants only (No C2C)

The Material Handler will be responsible for performing both physical and administrative warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, and material distribution. This role ensures inventory accuracy, compliance with safety regulations, and smooth day-to-day operations within the facility.

Receiving:
Inspect and verify incoming materials against purchase orders/invoices. Distribute to appropriate departments.

Storage & Inventory:
Operate material handling equipment to store, relocate, and consolidate materials. Conduct regular cycle counts and inspections. Maintain accuracy of lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates.

Picking & Packing:
Select, consolidate, and pack products based on customer orders. Handle returns per company policy.

Transporting & Delivery:
Move materials within the facility; may operate a company vehicle for local pickups/deliveries.

Shipping:
Load/unload trailers per DOT regulations. Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.

Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to OSHA, DOT, and GMP standards for handling all materials, including hazardous goods. Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Administration:
Use SAP for labeling, issuing goods, and tracking inventory. Maintain logs and required records.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in warehousing, distribution, or material handling.

Preferred:
Experience handling hazardous materials.

Note:

A valid driver s license may be required for some assignments.

Knowledge of receiving, inventory, and storage processes.

Familiarity with OSHA, IATA, DOT, GMP, and SAP is an advantage.

Skilled in the safe handling of goods and material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts).

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Frequent lifting and operation of warehouse machinery.

Work performed in a warehouse environment compliant with GMP/OSHA standards.

Occasional overtime or travel as required.

This is a Junior-Level Contract (W2) position.

We are specifically looking for independent consultants (no C2C).

Candidates must have 2 – 4 years of relevant hands‑on experience in warehouse or material handling operations.

The national base pay range below is a good‑faith estimate of what our client may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Client’s assessment of the candidates knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $21 – $22 per hour on W2.
