Day Warehouse Worker – The Chefs' Warehouse

As a Warehouse Worker, you will provide warehouse support including picking, packing, assembly, sorting, shipping, and receiving of orders to meet the facility’s productivity and quality goals within the establishment.

• Read production schedule, customer orders, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and break down product by SKU, quantity, and product type.
• Operate electric pallet jack and/or stand‑up forklift.
• Communicate effectively with Receivers, Drivers, Driver Check‑in, and Forklift Operators.
• Adhere to proper safety practices for truck and trailer pull process daily.
• Store goods in designated areas of the warehouse.
• Handle all company‑issued equipment, including PPE and voice equipment.
• Report all safety concerns in the work environment in a timely manner.
• Wear company‑issued uniform.
• Assemble customer orders from stock, place orders on pallets or shelves, and move orders to the loading dock for shipping.
• Label pallets with identifying information when instructed.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers when necessary.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
