Pay: $17/hr
People Share is now hiring Logistics Associates (Part-time) for a leading distribution center operation in Logan, NJ. If you're looking for warehouse work with a flexible schedule and enjoy staying active in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Schedule- Sunday through Thursday
- Flexible morning start times, typically between 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM
- Occasional start times as early as 5:00 AM
- Shift lengths vary based on daily shipment volume
- Average 25-30 hours per week
- Hours may occasionally range from 15-20 hours per week during slower periods
- Full-time hours are not guaranteed
- Unload cartons and merchandise from inbound trailers
- Place cartons onto conveyor systems
- Sort products by store destination
- Build and organize pallets for shipment
- Scan merchandise and pallets using RF scanners
Move completed pallets to designated staging areas - Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy
- Support daily shipping deadlines and productivity goals
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures
- Ability to lift 25-30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Comfortable with repetitive lifting, bending, standing, and walking throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with changing start times
- Previous warehouse, distribution, loading/unloading, manufacturing, or general labor experience is a plus but not required
- Dependable and punctual
- Flexible with schedule changes
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Able to perform physical work throughout the shift
