Job Responsibilities:

Provide direction and leadership in accordance with established policies and procedures while focusing efforts to maximize accuracy, productivity and safety within the Distribution Center Partner with facility management in the daily activities of the Distribution Center Oversee that Cycle Count KPIs are met for the Distribution Center Oversee Slotting initiatives in order to maintain maximum picking efficiencies and space utilization

Oversee any Audit and QA processes

Analyze and report data relative to the department to constantly improve quality and efficiency.  Identify process improvement and make recommendations to maintain a high level of customer service

Monitory daily, weekly, and monthly production goals to ensure effective staffing and manpower utilization

Enhance leadership by developing direct reports and team members

Effectively coordinate and communicate with all support areas such as Wowtown Inventory Control, Finance, Quality Assurance, IT, Human Resources and various corporate office support areas

Actively promote an environment and culture focused on customer service, safety, diversity and teamwork

Consult and correspond with leads or managers to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages and non-conformance to specifications

Responsible for department performance, quality and housekeeping

Qualifications:

Experience in an automated and conveyor driven environment is preferred

Hands on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan Associates preferred)
Demonstrate leadership, problem solving, and interpersonal skills preferably in a distribution environment

Proficient in collecting and analyzing data to formulate recommendations for process improvements.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic work environment

Solid written and verbal communication skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and Outlook Flexibility to work varied hours to include weekends as business needs warrant

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred (2-5 yrs in Inventory role preferred)
Ability to work flexible hours and work an alternate shift for an extended period of time with limited notice.

Ability to stand, stoop, lift and perform manual dexterity.

Lift up to 50 pound boxes, and remain on feet for entire shift.

Ability to ascend staircases and perform standing work on an elevated platform.

Ability to work while being exposed to cold temperatures in the winter and hot temperatures in the summer.
