Position Summary:

Swank Construction Company, LLC is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Laborer for our construction division. This position is an essential part of our crew, performing a variety of manual tasks to support various construction activities. This is a physically demanding job that requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will be able to perform the following essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

* Ability to perform physical labor activities which includes, but is not limited to, lifting, pulling, pushing, and/or carrying different types of objects/materials.

* Preparing worksite zones, installing traffic barricades, cones, markers, and controlling traffic passing near, in, and around work zones.

* Assist with setting up and dismantling scaffolding, barricades, and other temporary structures.

* Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment using hand tools and machinery.

* Operate a variety of equipment, which includes, jackhammers, plate tampers, concrete mortar/mixers, electric/hydraulic machines, torches, seal pots, chainsaw/quickie saws, heavy walk behind flat saws drills, and power tools.

* Assist in jack hammering, mixing, and pouring concrete.

* Caring for company tools/equipment/machines.

* Keeps job site clean of all unused/waste materials and ensures all equipment is stored in a safe and secure manner.

* Ensure the practice of safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA.

* Willingness to perform and learn different aspects of the Construction Laborer position.

* Perform all other tasks and follow instructions as directed by supervisors.
