Key Responsibilities- Full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for the MV Drives Repair Center, ensuring revenue growth, margin expansion, and cost control.
- Drive profitable repair volume growth by optimizing capacity, reducing cost per unit, and expanding the customer base.
- Collaborate with the business development team to build and execute MV Drives repair sales strategy.
- Partner with Finance to lead monthly performance reviews, pricing decisions, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and capital planning.
- Champion a ZERO HARM safety culture with rigorous compliance to safety standards.
- Embed safety into all processes and behaviors at every level of the organization.
- Lead day‑to‑day repair center operations with focus on cycle‑time reduction, quality control, and productivity gains.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and new processes to streamline operations, reduce waste, and maximize throughput.
- Monitor key performance indicators and ensure continuous improvement aligned with business goals.
- Build and sustain strong customer relationships, ensuring on‑time, high‑quality repair services.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Logistics, Procurement, EHS, P&O and domestic and global manufacturing plants.
- Lead a team of 15+ employees, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability and performance.
- Mentor and develop operational leaders and high‑potential talent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (High School Diploma/GED considered).
- 10+ years of operations leadership experience, preferably in a service or repair center environment.
- Demonstrated success managing P&L performance, driving cost reductions, demand‑capacity planning, forecasting, budgeting and revenue‑generating initiatives.
- Minimum 5 years managing diverse teams including hourly employees in a factory environment.
- Strong safety leadership, quality, process improvement, and employee engagement record.
- Proficient in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
- Results‑oriented, adaptable, capable of thriving in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment.
- Willing to travel up to 10% as needed for customer and business engagement.
- Experience with variable frequency drives or similar electrical distribution energy management equipment is strongly preferred.
$87,000 – $149,200, depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
