Summary:

The Anesthesiology Physician position in New Lenox, IL, offers a full‑time opportunity within a low‑turnover team comprising MDs and CRNAs. Responsibilities include administering various types of anesthesia for a diverse patient demographic and participating in call coverage with incentives. • Full-time, permanent
• Turnover rate – very low
• General structure of the team – MD/CRNA care model
• Open for full-time permanent positions with weekend coverage
• Shift times are variable with a potential for call
• The call is 24 hours and there is an incentive attached to it. Approximately 2-3 calls a month.
• Spinals and epidurals can be done by CRNAs; all nerve blocks are done by MDs.
• Pre‑ops are mostly done by the MDs unless it is a MAC case where the CRNAs can do it.
• Trauma level II – 10 ORs
• Patient age demographic: pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric
• Required procedures: general surgical cases, IV regional anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, OB cases, neurosurgical cases
