Summary:
The Anesthesiology Physician position in New Lenox, IL, offers a full‑time opportunity within a low‑turnover team comprising MDs and CRNAs. Responsibilities include administering various types of anesthesia for a diverse patient demographic and participating in call coverage with incentives. Position Details- Full-time, permanent
- Turnover rate – very low
- General structure of the team – MD/CRNA care model
- Open for full-time permanent positions with weekend coverage
- Shift times are variable with a potential for call
- The call is 24 hours and there is an incentive attached to it. Approximately 2-3 calls a month.
- Spinals and epidurals can be done by CRNAs; all nerve blocks are done by MDs.
- Pre‑ops are mostly done by the MDs unless it is a MAC case where the CRNAs can do it.
- Trauma level II – 10 ORs
- Patient age demographic: pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric
- Required procedures: general surgical cases, IV regional anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, OB cases, neurosurgical cases
