** Position Title**:
Central Scheduling Representative

* Position Summary:

** Schedule outpatient diagnostic testing in a call center setting. Obtain accurate demographic information to start the pre-registration process and maintain accurate patient medical records.
*
* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Answer phones and provide excellent customer service to patients and providers.
* Read doctor’s orders to accurately schedule patient appointments.
* Obtain accurate demographic and insurance information over the phone.
* Provides patients with accurate information on test preparation and procedures
* Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits
* Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct
** Required Qualifications**:
** Education and Training**:
* High School graduate or equivalent.
* Medical terminology preferred but not required.
* Ability to provide caring and compassionate service over the phone.
* Able to utilize Microsoft Outlook (Office) and Microsoft Teams.
* Proficient in typing and utilizing multiple software systems simultaneously.
* Central Scheduling, outpatient registration or customer service preferred.
** Work Shift Details:
** Days, Days, M-Th 9:30am-6pm. F 8:30am-5pm. Rotating Saturdays.

The expected pay for this position is listed below:$17.29 - $21.62
