Position Summary:

Responsible for the delivery of food and services to patients and customers. Follows all cooking assignments maintaining a sanitary and safe working area at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Follows sanitation guidelines Follows recipes and preparation instructions Accurately and efficiently uses cooking equipment Knowledgeable of basic diet Properly portions all food and ingredients per department standards Prepares food to accurate consistency per diet requirements Preps food items for current use and next day Follows production sheets and records all related HACCP documentation Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct

Required Qualifications:
