Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in anesthesiology and critical care, with the ability to provide high-quality patient care in various settings. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, as well as proficiency in patient assessment and monitoring.

Duties The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will be responsible for the following:

• Administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures.
• Conducting thorough patient assessments prior to anesthesia administration.
• Monitoring patients  vital signs and overall condition throughout procedures.
• Managing airway during anesthesia and ensuring patient safety.
• Documenting medical information accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems, including Epic.
• Collaborating with surgical teams to develop anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Providing pain management solutions for patients post-procedure.
• Adhering to HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards in all aspects of patient care.
• Maintaining knowledge of current anesthesiology practices and advancements.

The following qualifications are required for consideration:

• Board Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) by the commencement date - REQUIRED
• An active Illinois license, or a willingness to obtain one - REQUIRED
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) by the commencement date - REQUIRED

Additionally, the following credentials must be obtained prior to the start date:

• DEA registration
• Controlled Substance Registration/Cardinal Drug Schedules (CSR/CDS)
