Join Target as a General Merchandise Expert. The starting hourly rate is $17.25 USD, with a pay range of $17.25 - $25.90 USD per hour.

As a General Merchandise Expert, you will ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. You will also lead inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping them with their needs.
• Execute daily tasks assigned by your leader to help achieve business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, and arranging merchandise.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures, if certified.
• Execute processes, including changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy.
• Learn about operational procedures and how they affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.

We are looking for candidates with a welcoming and helpful attitude, ability to communicate effectively, and work both independently and with a team. You should be able to resolve guest questions quickly, have attention to detail, and follow multi-step processes.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb up and down ladders and scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely.
• Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements.
