Harbor Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center a Short-Term Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility located in a quaint location of New London is seeking an Enthusiastic Business Office Manager/Biller (BOM) to join our team!

Skilled Nursing Facility billing experience required

The primary purpose of the Business Office Manager/Biller is to be responsible for overall financial functions and controls within the Long-term Care facility business office. This employee focuses primarily on maximizing cash flow through efficient billing and collection processes, and as such is responsible for managing the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions according to the organization’s established policies and procedures or as may be directed by the Director of Revenue Cycle and/or the facility Administrator.

The BOM must have great personal skills, be organized and have the ability to multitask, the BOM plays a key role in the management team of the facility.

About the Role:

As a Business Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our business office, including accounting, payroll, and human resources. You will oversee the preparation of financial reports, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also serve as a liaison between our clinical and administrative teams, providing support and guidance as needed.

As a Full-Time Long Term Care Business Office Manager
, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our leadership and staff to drive success and excellence in our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the business office, including accounting, payroll, and human resources
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and OSHA
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, and manage inventory and supplies
  • Provide support and guidance to clinical and administrative staff
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records
    , and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
