Position Overview
Nathan Hale Arts Elementary School is seeking supportive, organized, and reliable Rehearsal Assistants to help manage large-group rehearsals and performance days for the school musical. This temporary, stipend-based role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with students and supporting the logistical needs of a busy production environment. Three positions are available.
Key Responsibilities- Support rehearsals that involve large numbers of students, following direction from the Production Manager.
- Assist with student management during transitions, scene changes, and backstage moments.
- Monitor and guide students between scenes to ensure safety, readiness, and smooth operations.
- Work all scheduled tech week rehearsals and all performance days (required).
- Support the production team with student-related needs during both rehearsals and performances.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager or production team.
- Experience working with children or student groups in educational or extracurricular settings.
- Ability to remain organized, attentive, and calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable supervising groups of students.
- Prior theatre or production experience is helpful but not required.
Stipend: $800 per position (three positions available).
