OverviewDeliver engaging, standards-based dance instruction across a variety of styles (e.g., modern, jazz, hip-hop, ballet) aligned with the middle school and high school performing arts curriculum.
Collaborate with visual and performing arts faculty on interdisciplinary projects and school-wide performances.
Guide students in developing technical skills, creative expression, and performance readiness.
Foster a supportive classroom culture that reflects the school’s mission in the arts and academic excellence.
Assist with rehearsal supervision, choreography development, and production support.
Valid State of Connecticut certification (044 or 483) PK-12 Dance.
Experience teaching diverse dance styles and choreographing for student performances.
Background in arts integration or interdisciplinary collaboration within a performing arts setting.
Strong classroom management skills and culturally responsive teaching practices.
Inspire and mentor young dancers in a dynamic, arts-focused school environment.
