  • Foster a love of reading and writing through diverse literary selections and writing assignments.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
  • Assess student performance through a variety of evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and curriculum development.
  • Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding academic progress and classroom expectations.
  • Valid state teaching certification in English Language Arts (ELA 015)
  • Strong knowledge of literary analysis, composition, and language skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred:
    Bilingual in English and Spanish.

  • POSITION OVERVIEW:To provide leadership in and coordination to the assigned area of English Language Arts, 6-12

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards.

    • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Valid state teaching certification in English Language Arts (ELA 015)
    • Strong knowledge of literary analysis, composition, and language skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Preferred:
      Bilingual in English and Spanish.

    EMPLOYMENT TERMS:

    • 10 month/ Part-time
