- Develops, organizes, and conducts training and educational programs for Navy students enrolled in the Fiber Optic Maintenance Technician course of instruction.
- Deliver traditional classroom instruction and support technical laboratory training with strong customer service skills.
- Collaborate as a team member to identify learning gaps and train maintenance technicians to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair shipboard fiber optic systems.
- Work to meet customer deadlines with competing or shifting priorities.
- Conduct dynamic assessment of sailors’ abilities to comply with technical procedures and NAVSEA Shipboard Fiber Optic maintenance and repair standards.
- Experience:
Five (5) years as a technician repairing military electronic systems that included fiber optic components or in a role where you taught the applicable system or function to others in an apprentice-level training environment. Experience as a Fiber Optic Installer or repair technician is required. At least one year of instructional or facilitator experience in a Navy Training Environment, including curriculum maintenance, writing learning objectives, preparing test items, evaluating instructional materials, and counseling students on academic learning problems required.
Must be able to support training with extended periods on your feet while instructing. - Technical

Salary range likely $76,500 – $103,500. Final compensation may vary based on experience, location, and contractual requirements.
