Admissions CRM Specialist – Mitchell College

Mitchell College seeks an experienced and proactive Enrollment Management CRM Specialist to manage, optimize, and expand the Slate CRM environment. The specialist will support admissions and enrollment management workflows, ensure data integrity, and develop communication campaigns that align with the institution’s enrollment strategies for undergraduate and new programs.

Responsibilities
  • Customize, build applications, create forms, queries, and reports to support all stages of the admissions cycle.
  • Manage annual application preparation, including updates and configuration for each admissions cycle.
  • Build and maintain import processes for external data sources, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of name acquisition data.
  • Design and manage portals to support admissions and recruitment efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancements and recommend technical solutions that support operational efficiency and strategic goals.
  • Manage data integrations and assist with error correction in data feeds between systems, vendor files, and site‑specific forms that insert records into the system. Develop in‑depth knowledge of data integrations and business process data usage ensuring optimal data integrations and troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Admissions team to implement and optimize automated communication workflows, including segmentation, personalization, testing, and deployment.
  • Manage population groups and deliver targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Run regular audits to maintain data integrity and ensure best practices in system maintenance.
  • Assist with writing and editing content for publications as well as electronic communication streams using the CRM.
  • Execute email and SMS communication utilizing the CRM.
  • Keep enrollment web content current and make recommendations for updates.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining a strong social media presence.
  • Provide high‑quality customer service.
  • Develop a working knowledge and remain current on all college recruitment messages, facts, and policies.
  • Collaborate with other administrative offices, academic departments, committees and college personnel to effectively support student recruitment and enrollment – specifically Communications and Marketing.
  • Attend professional development workshops and conferences when required.
  • Participate in evening and weekend events.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director of Admissions.
Required Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, required.
  • Experience integrating and managing Slate CRM.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi‑task and work in an extremely fast‑paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing complex, integrated communication campaigns.
  • Demonstrated public relations skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, with acute attention to detail, strong organization, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Flexibility, dedication, initiative, confidentiality, and the ability to learn are expected.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize work assignments for timely completion.
  • Willingness to work non‑standard hours, including some evenings and weekends.
  • Self‑starter and resourceful.
Preferred
  • Master’s degree.
  • Demonstrated experience serving on or leading a CRM project team (implementation, ongoing enhancements, customizations, etc.).
  • Experience in a competitive admission setting or equivalent experience in a marketing role.
  • Demonstrated experience creating content and managing social media platforms.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish (fluent in speaking and writing).
