Companion Animal Hospital in Groton, Connecticut, is seeking a full-time general practice veterinarian to join our dedicated team. We welcome candidates interested in providing alternative medicine options such as Chinese herbal therapy, acupuncture, and Reiki.
Since 1982, Companion Animal Hospital has been a vital part of the community and has maintained AAHA accreditation for over 30 years. We are a progressive, full-service small animal hospital that also cares for avian and exotic pets. Our team is committed to delivering the highest standard of medicine and personalized care for every patient, whether feathered, scaled, or furry. We treat cats and dogs with the same compassion and professionalism as our avian and exotic patients, fostering lasting relationships with pets and their families.
Our facilities include a dedicated ward for avian and exotic patients, wellness and reproductive management services, dental care—including occlusal adjustments for small mammals—and various surgical procedures such as dental, reproductive, fracture repair, beak repair, mass removal, ovariohysterectomy, salpingohysterectomy, exploratory surgeries, and cystotomy for diverse exotic species. We also have specialized housing for exotic pets, including incubators and oxygen cages.
