Location: New London, CT

Schedule: Intermittent (0–19 hrs/week)

Salary: $19.95 / hr

• Prepare and cook a variety of food items such as pancakes, hamburgers, hot dogs, bacon, eggs, and sausage.
• Measure, weigh, and combine ingredients according to recipes for salads, desserts, juices, and fruit trays.
• Prepare toast, salad dressings, sandwiches, vegetables, and fruits for serving.
• Load cooked food into serving dishes, steam carts, and food trucks.
• Wash and clean kitchen equipment, work areas, dishes, pots, pans, and mechanical dishwasher.
• Maintain cleanliness of refrigerators, grills, equipment, and work space.
• Collect money and operate a cash register, if required, and prepare documentation for cash accountability.
• Assist in inventory taking and perform other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to safety regulations, use required safety equipment, and report hazards promptly.

• Minimum of one year of cooking experience in a food service facility.
• Experience with sanitation standards in handling and serving food.
• Ability to follow recipes and combine ingredients for uncooked dishes.
• Must obtain a Food Handler's Certificate or complete food handler's training.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 lb, stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend for long periods.

• Two or more years of food service experience.
