School Psychologist - La Mesa, NM

Position

A full‑time on‑site school psychologist position is available for the  school year, with the possibility of extending through the Extended School Year (ESY) until the end of June. This role is based in a K‑12 school setting in La Mesa, New Mexico, serving primarily a middle school population.

• Provide therapeutic support to students.
• Conduct re‑evaluations.
• Intervene in crises.
• Perform general school psychologist duties.
• Maintain consistent onsite presence, including continuation after the returning psychologist completes FMLA leave.

• New Mexico state licensure as a school psychologist, Level 2 or 3 preferred;
  Level 1 considered.
• Experience working with K‑12 populations, particularly middle school students.
• Strong skills in therapy delivery, evaluations, and crisis management within the school environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive small district setting.
• Flexibility to travel between campuses if necessary, with compensated drive time.

Southern New Mexico, near Las Cruces, within commuting distance from El Paso, Texas. Candidates from nearby cities such as Deming and Truth or Consequences, close to White Sands National Park, are encouraged to apply.
