Professional Learning Specialist

We are hiring a Professional Learning Specialist to strengthen and develop substitute teacher and paraprofessional performance by delivering impactful training and feedback aligned with company standards.

  Part-time Monday-Friday – work hours vary based on class training schedule

  Travel to assigned district may be required and is covered by mileage reimbursement.

• $225 (based upon extensive teaching/administrative experience) per five-hour training session plus travel mileage reimbursement at the company rate.

• Collaborate with school and district leadership to identify professional development needs, implement coaching strategies, and recommend areas for instructional improvement.
• Communicate and model research‑based instructional practices, providing individualized, classroom‑embedded coaching to training participants.
• Support the implementation of district initiatives, including professional development curriculum frameworks and instructional programs for school district staff.
• Facilitate learning experiences that promote individualized adult learning principles, adaptability, and continuous professional growth.

• Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree strongly preferred
• Minimum of 8 years master teaching or school leadership experience.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Must interact well with others.
• Ability to prioritize and multi‑task.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.

Physical requirements may vary by assignment and location and may include sitting, standing, walking, and regular use of hands and arms. Close vision may be required for computer and detail‑oriented work. Work is typically performed in a moderate-noise environment, such as an office or school setting.
