Overview
Farm and Ranch Manager (6254)
Location:
New Mexico. Year round position on a northern New Mexico farm/ranch. This large family-owned ranch is located 100 miles from Santa Fe and 30 miles from the Las Vegas, New Mexico community.
- Mostly farming position with very occasional assistance to ranching operations.
- Manage 850 acres of irrigated land (alfalfa and some winter wheat) using flood and center-pivot irrigation systems.
- Support operation of 1500 head of cattle (steers) from May 1 to October 1 on gamagrass pastures.
- Manage the family s contiguous living compound and grounds separately from this farm and ranch hand position.
- Spanish speaking required;
English is not necessary but would be a plus.
- Full separate housing on the property.

- A vehicle to drive from home to work.
- 2 weeks of paid vacation per year, standard sick leave and Christmas bonus.
Salary depends on qualifications and experience.
